It comes from my favorite anime, One Piece. It’s about a pirate who goes on recruiting a crew and finding a treasure.
That pirate is Monkey D. Luffy, a happy-go-lucky person who doesn’t give up on his friends and family.
He chases his dream of becoming the freest man on the sea! His contagious energy makes others around him want to live life to the fullest.
His mentor is Red-Haired Shanks. He inspired Luffy to become a pirate and gifted him his signature straw hat.
That strawhat is his ultimate treasure which he hangs on to. It’s now my treasure too.
You can give meaning to anything. Treasure need not always be linked to money.
