I explored the mobility space in the last 2 weeks. Talked to PMs and co-founders of bike-sharing startups in my city and demand prediction came out as a common problem. However, while sizing the market from a business perspective, it did not turn out to be a big enough problem to work on. Basically, the value potential is nowhere close to $1B. This makes it a good problem to solve as a consultancy but not as a startup. So the hunt continues…
